Iron Maiden’s original lead singer, Paul Di’Anno, has passed away at the age of 66. The news was confirmed by his label, Conquest Music, on behalf of his family.
Di’Anno fronted Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981, lending his powerful vocals to their seminal albums “Iron Maiden” and “Killers.” He was later replaced by Bruce Dickinson, who would go on to become one of the band’s most recognizable figures.
