This is a tough day for metal fans everywhere, myself included. The Pit, a beloved source for all things metal news, just announced they’re shutting down on April 2nd. No more fresh content after that date.
Many of us have cherished memories of diving into The Pit’s articles. Since 2017, they’ve been a reliable source of killer music news and scene updates, and their impact on the metal community is undeniable. They influenced this site too – I spent countless hours reading The Pit and staying up-to-date on the metal scene.
Huge thanks to the entire Pit team for their dedication to keeping us all informed and passionate about metal. We wish them the absolute best in their future endeavors.
