Five Finger Death Punch has been forced to cancel their appearance in Mexico City on September 29th as the support act for Metallica. The cancellation is due to an injury sustained by FFDP singer Ivan Moody.
To replace Five Finger Death Punch, the Mexican metal band Agora will take the stage. Agora is no stranger to the international festival circuit, having shared the stage with renowned acts like Guns N’ Roses, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, and Kiss.
Metallica released a statement expressing their disappointment over Five Finger Death Punch’s absence and sending their best wishes to Ivan Moody for a speedy recovery. The band also expressed their excitement for Agora’s performance, noting their impressive history and talent.
“A huge thanks to Agora for stepping up.”
