Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody sustained a rib fracture during a performance at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 26th. The 44-year-old singer was injured during the eleventh song of the set, “IOU,” as the weather turned rainy.
Despite losing his footing and sustaining a painful bruise, Moody continued to perform, completing the final song of Five Finger’s regular set. Later, he shared on Instagram that his hand also felt “shattered.”
After a visit to the hospital, Moody was diagnosed with a fractured rib. Despite the injury, he expressed his belief that it was worth it to perform at Louder Than Life.
