Metallica has shown their philanthropic side once again. Their All Within My Hands Foundation has donated $100,000 for immediate disaster relief in communities devastated by Hurricane Helene.
The hurricane, which made landfall on September 26th, caused widespread destruction across a 500-mile stretch in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. With over 215 lives lost and hundreds still missing, Hurricane Helene is the third deadliest storm to hit the US this century.
The All Within My Hands Foundation is partnering with World Central Kitchen (WCK) to provide vital food and clean water to isolated communities. WCK has already deployed food trucks and partnered with restaurants in the affected areas to deliver tens of thousands of hot meals and sandwiches. Additionally, WCK water tanks capable of providing 100,000 gallons of potable water per day have arrived in Asheville, NC.
Every Dollar Counts: Help the Relief Efforts
