Primal Fear Announces New Studio Album ‘Domination’

Primal Fear, a force in heavy and power metal for over 25 years, continues to defy the odds. Despite facing various challenges, they’ve consistently emerged stronger, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

The band is currently in the final stages of completing their 15th studio album, Domination (Reigning Phoenix Music). This follows a recent lineup change that saw the addition of guitarist Thalìa Bellezecca and drummer André Hilgers.

“We’re absolutely thrilled!” exclaims founding member Mat Sinner (bass, vocals) about the recording process. “We have a massive pool of 25 songs to choose from!”

Domination is produced by Sinner and co-produced by vocalist Ralf Scheepers and longtime collaborator Magnus Karlsson. The album is set to be mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at his Hansen Studios in Denmark by the end of the year.

Fans can expect a powerful and energetic experience, both live and on the record. Longtime guitarist Magnus Karlsson, now back in the live fold, expresses his excitement: “I can’t wait to hit the stage with Primal Fear again! We’re creating something truly special, and I’m grateful to share this journey with all the metalheads out there!”

Domination aims to surpass the success of their previous album, Code Red, which achieved their highest chart positions ever. Vocalist Ralf Scheepers echoes this sentiment: “Singing these new songs has been incredibly energizing!”

Mark your calendars, metalheads! Domination drops on September 5, 2025, accompanied by a European tour kicking off in Hamburg, Germany. The eight-country tour celebrates the album’s release and will be preceded by festival appearances
