The legendary band The Doors is kicking off their 60th anniversary in 2025 with a series of exciting releases, including a limited edition vinyl box set and a live album.
Limited Edition Vinyl Box Set
“The Doors 1967-1971,” a 6-LP set featuring all six of the band’s original studio albums, will be available on November 22nd. This audiophile vinyl edition, mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed by Optimal Media, is housed in a heavyweight gatefold jacket with rare photos and liner notes. Record Store Day Black Friday Release
On November 29th, The Doors will release “The Doors – Live in Detroit” for the first time on vinyl. This 4-LP set captures the band’s electrifying performance from Cobo Arena in Detroit on May 8, 1970. Despite exceeding their allotted stage time and being banned from the venue, The Doors delivered a legendary set featuring blues covers, extended versions of their classics, and rare tracks.
